Empowering Independence for Seniors

In our later years, we gradually lose independence in our lives. The support of family, friends, and professionals is critical to healthy aging, but as the little things add up, we may realize that we’ve lost too much control.

Especially for seniors with dementia, it’s critical that care is provided with the goal of empowering an individual to remain as independent as possible. That sense of control and ability does wonders for a patient’s mood and wellbeing.
